Hachoirs and Mezzalunas
A hachoir is a chopping board with a shallow indentation in it, ideal for containing the ingredients (such as herbs) to be chopped. A mezzaluna is is a chopping instrument consisting of a single or double curved blade with a handle on each end. Put together you have the perfect kit to chop fresh herbs ready for the pot.
